ist unter Wikipedia etwas hinterlegt, was verdeutlicht, daß die Türkisierung Kleinasiens tatsächlich ERST mit der Gründung des Staates Türkei eingeleitet wurde, und zuvor alles ein klassisches Vielvölerimperium war:

Viele makedonische Toponyme wurden nach der Besatzung Südmakedoniens durch die Griechen hellenisiert. Später bezog man dann auch Personennamen mit ein und änderte die makedonische Namen in gräzisierte.
