New plan to reduce Mak unemployment

Macedonian Government adopted a new operative plan to reduce unemployment. More than 7,000 persons will be included in self-employment programs, programs intended to formalize existing business and training programs in textile industry. “These measures were implemented in last three to four years and have proven to be effective.

Head of Employment Agency recently stated that the self-employment program had an 85 percent success rate”, declared Minister of Labour and Social Policy Bajrami.

The Government also introduced new subsidy for persons living over 60 kilometres away from their job, who are not working as civil servants in Skopje. Macedonian Government stated that it had no instant solutions for employment problems and promised to work hard on reducing unemployment.

Sweden’s East Capital Explorer buys 9.25% of Komercijalna Banka

Sweden's East Capital Explorer Investments has acquired a stake of 9.252% in Macedonia’s Komercijalna Banka [MSE:KMB] for 927.5 million denars ($20.5 million/15.1 million euro), thus increasing its holdings to 12.327%, the bank said on Thursday.

The Swedish investment company bought 265,000 new ordinary shares of Komercijalna Banka for 3,500 denars each in a public offering on the Macedonian Stock Exchange last Friday, the bank said in a statement to the Skopje bourse.

EurOmax Erweitert Ressource Auf Ilovitza Kupfer-Goldprojekt In Mazedonien

EurOmax Resources (CVE:EOX) (PINK SHEETS: EOXFF) meldete Ergebnisse vom Ilovitza Kupfer-Goldprojekt in Mazedonien.

Alle Bohrungen haben erhebliche Mineralisierung gefunden, sagte die Firma.

Das Unternehmen konzentriert sich auf Exploration in Süd-Ost-Europa und es hat 2010 sieben Bohrungen auf Ilovitza vorgenommen (insgesamt 3.400m).

Die Bohrungen wurden konzipiert, um die bestehende 303m Tonne Ressource zu erweitern, die zur Zeit Grade von 0,23% Kupfer und 0,31g/t Gold hat. Sechs Bohrungen wurden nördlich der bestehenden Ressource vorgenommen. Ein Bohrloch wurde auf der östlichen Seite gebohrt.

"Diese Bohrungen werden uns ermöglichen, eine neue NI43-101 Ressource zu schätzen," sagte technischer Berater Quinton Hennigh.

Die Highlights der Ergebnisse beinhalten:

Bohrloch EOIC-10-18, dass 336,5m mit 0,30% Kupfer und 0,37 g/t Gold erbohrt hat, einschliesslich 166,5m mit 0,36% Kupfer und 0,46 g/t Gold.

Hundert Meter nördlich von EOIC-10-18 fand EurOmax in Bohrloch EOIC-10-16 503m mit 0,20% Kupfer und 0,24 g/t Gold, einschliesslich 137m mit 0,28% Kupfer und 0,34 g/t Gold beginnend an der Oberfläche.

Ilovitza ist ein Kupfer-Gold Porphyr-System. Es ist Teil einer Provinz solcher Lagerstätten in Mazedonien und Griechenland. Die Provinz beherbergt die 4m Uz Gold/800 Tonne Kupfer 'Skouries' Lagerstätte in Griechenland.

EurOmax hat einem wichtigen internationalen Bergbau-Unternehmen eine Option für Ilovitza erhalten, sowie ein 4 Quadratkilometer grosses Gebiet rund um die Liegenschaft, sagte es.

Македонија доби грант од 2,2 милиони евра од Народна Република Кина
Скопје, 13 јули 2011 (МИА) - Македонија доби грант во висина од 2,2 милиони евра од Народна Република Кина за што денеска во македонската Влада беше потпишан договор за економска и техничка соработка меѓу двете влади.

Договорот го потпишаа вицепремиерот за европски прашања Васко Наумовски и кинескиот министер за надворешна трговија Гао Хученг, кој престојува во официјална посета на Македонија.

Двајцата соговорници ја истакнаа одличната билатерална соработка меѓу двете земји, развојот на пријателските односи, како и економската и техничката соработка којашто ќе продолжи и во иднина.

Хученг е задоволен од развојот на економската и трговска размена меѓу двете земји, особено од зголемувањето на трговската размена.

- Во текот на 2010 година, билатералната трговска размена го достигна нивото пред глобалната криза и беше најголемо во историјата. Ова особено се однесува на македонскиот извоз во Кина, кој тројно се зголеми, рече Хученг.

Трговската соработка меѓу Република Македонија и Народна Република Кина е далеку од она што е потенцијал на соработка, оценија претходно Хученг и македонскиот министер за економија Фатмир Бесими.

Во моментот трговската размена со Кина е 400 милиони долари што е само 3 до 4 проценти од нашата размена. - Далеку сме од тоа што е потенцијал на соработка. Во овој момент трговската размена меѓу двете земји се сведува на 400 милини долари, но сметаме дека има простор за соработка, изјави министерот Бесими по средбата.

Според него, потребно е ревидирање на договорот за слободна трговија и олеснување на царинските процедури, а концептот на технолошко-индустриските развојни зони што го разви Македонија го гледа како една од можностите за унапредување на соработката и како чекор напред во поглед на инвестициите.

- Во глобалната политика на Кина за приближување на бизнисот кон европскиот пазар мислам дека Македонија може да ја искористи приликата и да биде дел од овие движења на кинеските инвестиции во Европа. Мислам дека сме на добар пат. Има конкретни посети и проекти како што е Вардарска долина и доколку активно сме фокусирани на соработката со Кина и една проактивна соработка ќе даде резултати, рече Бесими.

Кинескиот министер за трговија подвлече дека инвестициите може да бидат главен двигател на економската соработка меѓу двете држави и кинеската Влада ги поддржува кинеските компании да инвестираат во Македонија, особено во реконструкцијата на железничката инфраструктура и енергетиката. бак/паг/15:32


China grants EUR 2,2 million to Macedonia
Skopje, 13 July 2011 (MIA) - China grants EUR2,2 million to Macedonia, which is a subject of an agreement on economic and technical cooperation, signed Wednesday in Skopje by the governments of the two countries.

Vice-Premier for European Affairs Vasko Naumovski and Chinese Minister of Trade Gao Hucheng put their signatures on the document.

At the signing ceremony they expressed satisfaction with the excellent relations and cooperation between the two countries, as well as belief in their further development.







China und Mazedonien unterzeichneten ein Abkommen für wirtschaftliche und technologische Kooperation, in folge dessen gibt die VRC Mazedonien 2.2 Mio. €.

Russian company "Prodis", part of the pharmaceutical holding "Protek Group", kicked off Thursday its investment on the Macedonian market by constructing a plant in the free economic zone of Bunardzik in the vicinity of Skopje after signing agreements with Macedonian institutions for a long-term lease of state land and for allocating state aid.

Prodis director Cost Dimov and heads of the Agency for Foreign Investments and Technological and Industrial Development Zone Skopje 1 - Bunardzik - Viktor Mizo and Natasa Hadzilega respectively - signed the documents launching the Russian investment. Premier Nikola Gruevski and Protek's top officials also attended the signing.

Following the signing of the agreements, a cornerstone laying ceremony for the new plant is being held in Bunardzik. The plant should start with production sometime next year. The new investment in Bunardzik is worth Euro five million and enables 130 jobs to be opened, export to increase and GDP to be boosted.

Protek Group is one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in Russia. The Group has a diversified business structure and is active in all industry sectors, including production of medications, distribution of health and beauty products, and retail sales. Established in 1990, it is the largest distributor of drugs and cosmetics in Russia.

The first Burger King restaurant is set to open on August 30 at Skopje airport “Alexander the Great”.

“We will open our first restaurant in Skopje Airport on Aug. 30, and three more Burger King restaurants will open in Macedonia before the end of the year,” said Caner Dikici, general manager of TAB Foods.
