Teknohose is opening new factory in Bunardzik – 150 new employments

Italian company Vitek, part of the Teknohose Group, which last year opened a factory in the economic zone Bunardzik, for this year is planning to build a new factory. As ekonomski.mk informs, it is about a factory four times bigger than the existing one, which will allow 150 new employments. This is what Jovan Popovic, Manager of the company’s production stated in an interview with ekonomski.mk.


According to Popovic, Macedonia was their choice because it offer good conditions for investing and quality labor force. In only three month of working in the course of last year, he says that they have finished the year rather successfully.


In regard to the new factory he says that the construction activities are in progress and the it will be put into use around October. It will be four times bigger and will employ 150 people, thus increasing the production

Italian company WITEC part of the Teknohoze group, which last year opened a factory in the Ekonomski zone Bunardgik, this year will build a new factory, four times bigger than the first one, and will employ 150 people, said the production manager at the plant, Jovan Popovic for Ekonomski.

Ekonomski: Last year you opened a company in Bunardzik, you selected Macedonia, why?
Popovik: First of all because of the good investment conditions in the zones in Macedonia and the quality workforce. Everything planned is being accomplished and this is our first investment outside of Italy.
Ekonomski: How big is the production?
Popovik: The production is 15 000 meters hose daily, an average of EUR 400.000 to 500.000 per month, we have 32 employees, with the expansion plan there will be an increase in production and the number of employees.
Ekonomski: Is the total production exported?
Popovik: 100 % is being exported all across Europe. One part goes to Russia and Dubai and we are now looking for new markets.
Ekonomski: What was the outcome of 2013 with only three months of operation?
Popovik: An average of EUR 400- 500 thousand invoiced value from existing customers. But the production is continuously increasing, and when the capacity with all machines will be filled, we will have to expend.
Ekonomski: You mentioned favorable conditions for investment, was it crucial?
Popovik: Yes, first of all the conditions, the financial, energy, the benefits from the state, quality workforce are the reasons why we came up with the idea to expand our production here.
Ekonomski: New capacity in Bunardzik was announced for this year.
Popovik: Yes, construction is underway. Around October the new plant should be started, four times bigger than this capacity. We plan to hire 150 people.
Ekonomski: Does that mean there will be new products or increasing in production?
Popovik: It will mean an increase in the production because the capacity is limited, so we plan to expand the current product.

 
Sutash will bring 150 new jobs


We promised to bring new plant on the site where worked Swedmilk and we managed to bring one of the largest companies producing milk in the region, Sutash from Turkey.

This was stated by the Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski during the visit to the factory “Sutash”.
He added that the Turkish company so far invested 13 million euro and employs about 80 people, and in future, the number of new jobs is expected to reach 150.
Beside milk producing, the company in Macedonia, Albania, and Kosovo sells dairy products, and their plan is to sell the products across Europe.
The plant has production capacity of 180 tons of dairy products, and was re-built and with very small investment in the future can afford to produce up to 400 tons.
Sutash currently produces wide range of dairy products, milk, yogurt, cheese and so on, and plan for the future is to extend this range of products.
This is the first investment of the company outside of Turkey, and soon they plan to open factory in Romania.
- The company plans to open farm area of ​​400 hectares and is currently looking for land. The farm will provide training for farmers to produce calves that will be given to individual farmers to produce milk, said the Prime Minister Gruevski.
Gruevski added that this Government is targeting new investments and in the future will be available to help all investors who need help.

 
Sutash will bring 150 new jobs

New € 5 million investment in TIRZ Tetovo

Italian company Itec that manufactures composite materials is expected to begin construction of a new facility in the industrial zone in Tetovo. This investment will cost € 5 million with 150 new jobs.

Director of the Agency for Foreign Investments and Export Promotion of the Republic of Macedonia, Visar Fida after the signing of the contract stated:
“This is the first investment to be realized in the TIRZ Tetovo. This company will realize an investment in the Tetovo area by the local company “PRO COMP ADVANCE TECHNOLOGIES”. The investment is related to composite materials and will cost € 5 million, and thus will bring 150 new jobs in the first two years. The facility will be placed on an area of ​​6000m2″, Fida said.
On this occasion, the Director of the company Itec Roberto Oskiri expressed his satisfaction for this investment.
“I am happy that I am here in Macedonia and on this occasion I hope that we will succeed”, said Oskiri.
According to announcements, the first phase of the investment is expected to be completed soon.

Tobacco giant Philip Morris, who last year became the strategic partner of Tobacco Factory Prilep opens office in the country, finds eMagazin.






Through the company Philip Morris Skopje LLC since late last year, they are looking for managers in distribution, commerce, administration, trade, and financial analyst. They offer indefinite term of employment, and wages for some of the positions reach up to 1,000 euro gross. The announcement for these positions is open until January 20.


Earlier, in September last year, Philip Morris announced that it has opened logistics center for the storage and transportation of oriental tobacco in Western Greece, through which it purchases the oriental tobacco in Macedonia, Greece and Bulgaria and send it in factories producing cigarettes in Europe and Russia.


The center will be located in the city of Agrinio in the former tobacco factory Papastros that already has adequate storage facilities for the storage of tobacco, and as major logistics hub for transporting tobacco will be used the port of Piraeus. Initial expectations are that through logistic center annually will pass about 15 thousand tons of tobacco.


As announced this month it should be formalized Strategic Partnership Agreement between Philip Morris and Tobacco Prilep, writes eMagazin.


According to General Director of Tobacco Prilep Aleksandar Dermendzhiev, the draft version of the agreement is complete, and expectations are that this year plant will have loss that will impair liquidity, and in 2015, the Company to enter into the positive.


Details of the agreement are kept secret.


The Tobacco Factory Prilep is the second largest production company for cigarettes in the country and holds 19 percent of the market; first place is reserved for Imperial Tobacco TKS Skopje with 61 percent of sales.
